Retro Xalli Clutch Bag

Xalli clutches are unique pieces, made from colourful embroidered textile from the indigenous Mazatecos, from the estate of Oaxaca. Their work is bold and typically depicts birds and flowers in a variety of colours. For centuries it has been a way for the artisans of the region to express their vision of their surroundings. The embroidery is carefully hand sewn by a master artisan in Tuxtepec, Oaxaca.

Our clutch bags are 100% handmade. It takes up to a month for the artisans to hand stitch the embroidery of these clutches.
